What We Do
At Art of the Box, we design and organize creative projects that bring young people together locally and internationally. Our work is rooted in non-formal education, where learning happens through doing, experimenting, and creating.
We develop workshops, exchanges, and collaborative projects in areas such as video, audio, digital media, and visual arts. Many of our initiatives are part of European programs like Erasmus+, giving young people the opportunity to connect with peers from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds.
Through these experiences, we don’t just teach creative skills — we inspire young people to step outside their comfort zone and become part of an international journey. A journey where they discover new perspectives, build confidence, and realize that their ideas can travel far beyond their own environment.
We believe every young person has a story to tell.
We simply give them the tools, the space, and the stage.

The youth exchange ‘Empower Vulnerable Youth: Theater, Creative Writing and Emotions in Focus’ has provided group of vulnerable youth an opportunity to take part in sessions based on theater and creative writing. Groups leaders together with the participants prepared the programme of the youth exchange and deliver it.
For the group leaders, the youth exchange was an opportunity to apply gained knowledge from the training course in practice and implement methods and techniques that they get to know during the training course. For vulnerable youth the youth exchange was a chance to gain new competencies, especially to improve soft skills, become more self-confident and able to manage own emotions in various situations.
Moreover, the participants had an opportunity to learn more about each other situation, to share own experiences and to learn about Erasmus + Programme, especially about the possibility to take part in voluntary activities.

This project aimed to improve youth center programs and reduce early school leaving by strengthening youth engagement and international cooperation.
Partners from across Europe collaborated through study visits in Belgium and Germany and a seminar in North Macedonia. These activities focused on sharing knowledge and best practices and on developing new approaches to youth work.
The project addressed common challenges such as limited youth programs, a lack of spaces for engagement, and weak cooperation between organizations.
By building strong partnerships and improving program quality, it contributed to creating more inclusive and effective youth centers across Europe.

The project brought together young people from different backgrounds to explore how media can amplify their voices and create space for intercultural dialogue. Through hands-on training, exchanges, and collaborative work, participants developed skills in digital communication while addressing important social topics such as inclusion, identity, and youth participation.
